In our modern world we are surrounded by
environmental pollution. Environmental
toxins are pathogenic and can affect
brain development and fertility. Toxins
can also alter our genes. In the fish
the environmental toxins are
concentrated in the fatty tissue. The
Barents Sea is one of the cleanest
oceanic areas we have, and the cod from
here have a naturally low content of
environmental toxins. For raw material
in our Cod Liver Oil we use only liver
from the arctic cod (skrei), and in
addition all environmental toxins like
PCB, pesticides, dioxins and heavy
metals are removed.
The tolerance for toxic content in fish
oils differs in each country. The
Mermaid Oil exceeds all national (Norwegian)
and International standards for
environmental requirements. The result
is an ultra pure product. |
